Riff raff means people without any type of ethics or people that don’t care about the game until they are policed with some marshals it will only get worse
Hogan will never catch up on the maintenance as long as the same amount of of rounds are played you would have to put in another full course 18 and some sort of executive par 3 to see any relief and be able to catch up
Hogan isnt even a good place to hit rang balls the balls are so wore out they fly like a scalded cat the putting green is good and the chipping area is fair but way to small
Those pesky riff raffers! We get it. Hogan will probably not reduce rounds per day/month/year. But they could. It's only increasing at this time. However, by allowing a few extra minutes between tee times and having a starter monitoring can help - some. Marshalls need to be trained for what their role entails besides free rounds of golf or riding around finding lost balls and picking up trash. We have to keep in mind, Hogan Park GC is a municipal golf course. It's open and available to anyone and of any skill level. There are methods and procedures available to alleviate some concerns - slow play, etc. But it will take proper golf course oversight and a willing management. We're making many recommendations/suggestions to City Staff. We're also noticing yours and others that care to share their thoughts and suggestions. Various city personnel are also reading our sites. We appreciate your participation Kelly.
Hogan is overplayed and under maintained Ratliff is coming along nicely but there is so much riff raff associated with it now with sunset closing until that gets under control I will be taking 75/80 percent of my money elsewhere Ratliff is a much better option than hogan. I will be traveling to Andrews Hobbs Denver city I will buy my fuel and drinks and food from those municipalities when I am there rather than this area. It isn’t just about the golf alone it is about our leadership
We're not sure what "riff raff" means. Specifically, what will it take for Hogan Park GC to earn your business. We know it currently needs much work and it's a busy place. We're on it. Give us some suggestions. Please let us know what you would do. Thanks for your input.
I am fortunate enough to have the flexibility to move and closing Ranchland gives me the justification to do so. Looks like Abilene County Club will be both my new courses and Home. See ya Midland and best of luck with the improved educational outcomes. I will be watching.
Interesting. So, if I understand correctly - you spend $4k - $5k a month playing golf. Somewhere? Are their no golf courses in the Midland area worthy of your money? Where do you currently play in the area? Thanks!
